In late March and early April 2014 six artists who work from life in the Penzance Life Group will be exhibiting their recent work at the well-known Crypt Gallery in St Ives Cornwall, a hub of contemporary artistic activity in the UK as well as home to the historic St Ives School and the Tate Gallery St Ives. Art in this exhibition includes finished work from the figure and works still in progress: oils, watercolours, woodcuts and monoprints as well as charcoal, ink and graphite drawings and three-dimensional works. Unframed work by others who attend the open weekly life drawing sessions will also be on show. Read press info.
