This is an informal  gallery of life work in various media from people attending the long-running weekly life drawing group in Penzance, a centre of artistic activity in the Penwith district of Cornwall in the UK.  Artists, designers and students of all abilities and interests come here, both residents and visitors to Cornwall and people from St Ives, St Just, Newlyn, Hayle, Helston, Camborne, Truro and Redruth too.  As well as using traditional drawing and painting media to work from the human figure, a number of these artists also experiment with monoprints done from life and also new digital media such as ipads, smartphones and ebooks.  They are inspired by a wide range of fascinating models, and produce remarkable sketches you see take shape each week.
